The owners of this riverside property in Tai Tapu were looking to build their first home, an 85m2 two-bedroom home cleverly designed by StudioWell architects.  

TAC Projects came on board for the full construction, including the on-site crafting of the exposed Macrocarpa Scissor trusses.  

The house sits on a cantilevered timber pile foundation to protect against the floodplain. The cladding is comprised of NZ grown and milled macrocarpa weatherboards, and completed with a Zincalume roof.
